What customers say?

“ Super well done. The tuna, chicken mole, and octopus were cooked perfectly and well balanced in flavor. Service was excellent. Beautiful ambiance with soft live music. ”

“ Flawless brunch execution. Vibes of localized Scandinavian minimalism, thoughtful interiors, varied menu with tourist and regional style dishes. I was shook by how much I loved my fruit bowl; it was layered in such a way that as the dish sat, the muesli and honey slowly steeped down into the fruits. The fruits were also layered in such a way to preserve the crispness of some, while letting the juice of the watermelon sit and percolate near the bottom into such a beautiful final melody of flavours. I loved this place. ”

“ I came here during restaurant week and had a fabulous dinner. Tuna tostada, shrimp risotto and peach dessert. There was a bit of a language barrier with the waitress. Although the menu had an English translation, for some reason the pork in the risotto dish was still in Spanish. I had informed her that I didn’t eat meat and asked if there was meat in the risotto dish, and she said “no, it’s rice” so I assumed the word I didn’t know was the type of rice. When the dish came out, I saw the pork and tried to explain again that I don’t eat meat, but she wasn’t understanding. I used my phone to translate and then she asked if chicken was okay… I finally just asked for shrimp and she spoke to the chef to see if he could substitute. He did and it was fantastic. I am still giving 5 stars because despite the confusion, they were all very nice and accommodating. Very reasonably priced as well. I paid twice as much for a shrimp risotto at another place and it did not come anywhere close to this one. The food was hot and very flavorful. Service was outstanding! ”

“ Great place to have breakfast with modern vibe and a nice patio with shade. We had some scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and mushrooms and a eggs with potatoes, Serrano ham and salad (forgot the name). Both were very tasty! We ordered also the breakfast package that includes coffee, a small fruit plate and a small juice. Apparently, the juice provided in the package is smaller as the one you would get if you order juice separately (which is totally fine). We ordered first a juice and then the package so we paid the difference. This was totally fair, but it would have been great to know that before ordering the drinks or that it is clearly stated in the menu. The cafe Americano has refill which is also appreciated! :) We recommend the place to have breakfast! ”

“ Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Washrooms are very clean too. One of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had. No idea how they got the bread to be so soft inside and crispy and flavorful on the outside. The sandwich can be even further improved if it was a single piece of chicken breast or something so it doesn’t fall off as easily. ”

“ Our 2nd dinner experience here. Both were well prepared, lovely presentation, and tasty. Today we shared a salad, followed by the short rib and pork dinners, and a shared chocolate covered chocolate mousse ball. The pork was nicely seasoned and not overcooked, the short rib while tasty was not extraordinary (probably personal preference, we loke a deeply browned crust on the meat, theirs is more of a pulled pork type consistency); the chocolate mousse was very rich and definately for sharing. Again each presentation was nicely done, portions are not overly large but certainly more than satisfying. We'll be back! ”

“ Early morning (830am) breakfast stop, place was empty when we arrived and we were seated immediately. Ordered and the food came fast, wait staff speak English well and the food was delicious! Very nicely displayed and reasonably priced. (350mx) for two people with coffee. By the time we left it was pretty busy and most tables taken. Definitely a must try. Stopped in again recently, busier now than last year but all aspects are the same, food is top notch , wait staff is friendly and fast. This is a well run restaurant! ”

“ Great new place to eat in Bucerías. Very tasty Mexican dishes with an interesting (but good) twist. We had dinner and then returned for breakfast. In addition to the Mexican cuisine they have an incredible French pastry assortment and great coffee. The music is also good but sometimes a bit loud if you sit out in the patio. Definitely a place you should try. ”
